Management operates at different levels and so it is possible to apply management information systems at these varied levels. Basic examples of management information systems are human resources management systems, financial management information systems and marketing management information systems. Enterprise IT Systems Enterprise IT systems are technologies designed to integrate and manage entire business processes for large organisations. Typically, enterprise application software is hosted on large servers over a computer network. Transmission of information can either be internal or external. Examples of enterprise information systems may be accounting software, health care specific software or electronic data Interchange (EDI). Another example of software within this category is CRM (Customer relationship management software). Information technology plays various roles in business, and provides a huge range of capabilities that enhance management performance. It is therefore important to understand the four major categories of IT systems and their functions in a business environment.

Business Model Transformation and Information Technology Use on the Quality of Accounting Information Systems in MSMEs in Indonesia

This research investigates the impact of business model transformation (BMT) and information technology utilization (ITU) on the quality of accounting information systems (QAIS) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. A quantitative approach is employed, with data collected through a survey of MSMEs across various industries. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) is used for data analysis. The findings reveal significant positive relationships between BMT, ITU, and QAIS. Business model transformation and IT utilization are found to significantly enhance the quality of accounting information systems in Indonesian MSMEs. These results highlight the importance of innovative business practices and effective technology adoption in improving financial management processes within MSMEs, providing valuable insights for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers.

Enterprise Audit Risk Assessment and Prevention based on AHP Analysis

If there are no auditing standards or auditing processes of big data, the audit risks of enterprises are increased. This paper first introduces the topic through the research background and literature review in order to ensure the integrity and accuracy of audit evidence to the maximum extent, and then analyses the causes of enterprise audit risk. When analysing the risk level of material misstatement, it is mainly the audit risk generated by the enterprise's unique business model, information system and financial management. Audit risk is mainly caused by the ability of auditors and audit process management. After quantitative analysis of the correctness of enterprise audit risk assessment indicators, this paper builds a multi-level comprehensive assessment model of enterprise audit risk on the basis of AHP analysis. At the same time, this paper puts forward specific measures to improve audit methods and audit processes and prevent audit risks in view of the actual problems encountered in the current audit risk of enterprises, so as to provide certain references for enterprise risk management and control.

ANALYSIS OF THE FUNCTIONS OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS – TRADITIONAL APPROACH

Project management information systems in enterprises help managers to manage, improve and track the progress in the implementation of projects from their conception to the achievement of results. The article reviews the literature and presents the most commonly used applications for storing, organizing and controlling project information in accordance with the traditional approach to project management. The authors analyzed the possibility of implementing the processes and achieving the results defined for them, presented in the Project Management Body of Knowledge, by means of five selected project management information systems. On the basis of the obtained results of research conducted on a group of Project Managers, conclusions were formulated, also indicating directions for further research.

Developing User-Friendly and Cost-Effective Sales Accounting Systems for the MSME Sector

This study aimed to develop and implement a user-friendly sales accounting information system for Manja Cheese Tea Macanan, a Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) specializing in contemporary milk-based beverages. Employing a development research methodology, data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis to understand the existing sale process and information needs of Manja Cheese Tea Macanan. The sales accounting information system design process comprised constructing relational database tables, defining entity-relationship diagrams, creating data retrieval queries, and designing user-friendly forms, reports, and navigation menus (login, home, sales switchboard). The findings revealed that Manja Cheese Tea Macanan relied on a amnual sales system, highlighting the need for automation and improved data management. The designed sales accounting information system was tailored to the specific needs of Manja Cheese Tea Macanan and successfully implemented. The system demonstrated operational effectiveness in facilitating sales recording, data management, and information retrieval, addresing the identified limitations of the earlier manual system.

Multi-modal fusion for business process prediction in call center scenarios

Call centers are critical for gathering customer feedback, making them essential for business communication. Predicting the ongoing business process status accurately has become a focus in both academia and industry. However, current methods mainly analyze process sequence data from enterprise information systems, missing out on valuable data from other sources like call centers. Moreover, these methods often focus on a single task, ignoring the shared information across multiple tasks. This paper presents a novel method for business process prediction that fuses multi-modal data from both information systems and call centers. Specifically, the method combines sequence data from the enterprise information system and dialogue text data from the call center for a more enriched business process prediction. Additionally, to navigate the multi-task learning conundrum, we improve the existing MMoE algorithm and introduce a new multi-task learning architecture called Heterogeneous Multi-gate Mixture-of-experts. The experimental results over some current approaches like Transformer, CNN and LSTM show superior prediction performance compared to baseline models, demonstrating that our method can help call centers optimize their processes, improve customer service, and drive business success.

The implementation of a practice-oriented approach in teaching students of technical universities based on the development of a digital twin of the information system of an industrial enterprise

Introduction. In teaching future engineers and mechanics, difficulties arise when they study such disciplines as Theoretical Mechanics and Strength of Materials. As a rule, this is due to the need to consolidate students’ acquired theoretical knowledge. However, carrying out a sufficient number of strength tests of products is associated with significant financial costs, so it is often economically expensive to obtain results by implementing physical experiments, and in some cases it is simply impossible. In this regard, for teaching it is advisable to use accurate distributed dynamic mathematical and software models of objects, that is, digital twins. Materials and methods. As a prototype of a digital twin, an information system of an industrial enterprise was considered, designed to monitor the stress-strain state of a beam using strain gauge data. 198 students and 8 teachers from the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology and the Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering of the Novosibirsk State Technical University (Russian Federation) took part in testing the methodology. Methods of mathematical statistics: Pearson's chi-squared test, survey and correlation analysis. Results. As a result of the introduction of teaching methods based on the use of a digital twin, situations were created that required students to critically analyze and include metacognitive skills. The implementation of practice-oriented training when working with a digital twin of an information system of an industrial enterprise has an impact on the academic performance of students (χ2 = 4.08; p < 0.05) and allows students to firmly consolidate the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which will subsequently allow the formation of sustainable professional competencies. Scientific novelty. The study revealed that learning using a digital twin contributes to a more controlled passage of the curriculum by students, develops qualities such as self-control and self-discipline, and stimulates cognitive interest in a specific academic discipline and the educational process in general. Practical relevance. The main advantage of introducing a digital twin of an industrial enterprise information system into the learning process is the effectiveness of this approach in terms of consolidating and developing practical skills among students. In addition, teaching using digital twins is particularly useful for preparation activities in high-risk industries, where practice at real-life facilities is impossible or difficult.

Research on The Impact of Aluminum Enterprise Information System on Performance after Implementation

Chinese aluminum companies and their industries are undergoing high-tech manufacturing industry upgrades.However, as its capital investment in industrial informatization continues to increase, its corporate performance is still uncertain.This study selects China's aluminum companies as the research object. Through a sample survey and analysis of the informatization level and corporate performance of these representative companies, the research conclusions are as follows: The first is the ongoing transformation of Chinese aluminum companies into high-tech manufacturing industries. With the investment in industrial informatization, their corporate performance levels have been significantly improved. Second, enterprise information concept does not have a significant impact on corporate business coupling and corporate performance. Third, the degree of enterprise business coupling plays a partial mediating role in the impact of the four dimensions of enterprise informatization level (organizational management informatization, marketing means informatization, product production and processing informatization, and artificial intelligence application) on enterprise performance. Fourth, employees' own information literacy level plays a positive regulating role between corporate business coupling and corporate performance.

Penerapan aplikasi digital dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan pada usaha mikro: Studi kasus pada 7W Coffee

Information technology has a significant impact on Accounting Information Systems (AIS) in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). One application that has been developed is "AkuntansiKu" which can assist in presenting financial reports programmed into the application system, such as the Income Statement, Statement of Changes in Capital, and Cash Flow Statement. This study aims to investigate whether the application of digital applications can facilitate the presentation of financial statements in accordance with standards. The analysis method used is descriptive qualitative analysis by collecting data through interviews. The results showed that the application of digital applications such a s "AkuntansiKu" can help MSMEs in presenting complete financial reports and in accordance with standards. This provides great benefits for companies in producing an easier recording process and accountable reporting. 

Linking enterprise information systems success to female employees’ work–family enrichment in China

Abstract The spread and application of enterprise information systems (EISs) has provided scholars and managers with a new perspective to enhance the work–family enrichment. Based on the work–family enrichment theory, this research aims to examine the ability of female employees to enhance their work–family enrichment by applying the resources accumulated through the use of EISs by combining the technology acceptance model with the DeLone & McLean Information Systems Success Model. The findings based on a survey of 823 full-time female employees in China indicated that the information systems quality factors (including information quality, system quality, and service quality) were positively associated with female employees’ work–family enrichment. In addition, the chained mediating effect of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness was examined. The results can help female employees to perform positively in both work and family spheres and provide positive support for the promotion of the social fertility policies.

Navigating the security landscape of large language models in enterprise information systems

ABSTRACT In this letter, we present a comprehensive analysis of the security landscape surrounding large language models, leveraging a dataset from 2022 to 2023. We delve into the collaborative and global nature of this field, emphasizing the interdisciplinary approach required to address the evolving challenges. Prominent keywords like ‘language model,’ ‘cybersecurity,’ and ‘data privacy’ underscore central research themes. Beyond analysis, we introduce a cutting-edge deep CNN-based security framework, successfully tested with the KDDCup dataset, resulting in an impressive 94.73% accuracy on the testing dataset. As large language models continue to play a pivotal role in diverse applications, our research underscores the urgency of international cooperation and innovative security measures to ensure their responsible and secure usage in our interconnected world. This letter serves as a foundation for future research, driving the collective effort to safeguard large language models.

Evaluating Artificial Intelligence's Effect On Accounting Information Systems For Small And Medium-Sized Enterprises

The purpose of the study is to determine how artificial intelligence affects small and medium-sized businesses' use of accounting information systems. Regression analysis was employed to verify the suggested model and test the hypothesis. Thus, it was determined that AI offers small enterprises new opportunities. With the aid of this study, the use of AI in accounting systems will increase in the future. Small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) are using artificial intelligence (AI) to improve many aspects of their operations and gain a competitive advantage. 

Optimizing Information System Management in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises: A COBIT 5 Framework Approach for Enhanced Quality

This study aims to establish a framework for governing information systems in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), focusing on decision-making processes in advanced and emerging MSME clusters. COBIT 5 is employed to identify variables and guide the research stages. The research will specifically examine MSMEs located in Bandung District. The evaluation of governance quality for each target, which includes Nurtured MSMEs and Advanced MSMEs, involves utilizing the Process Assessment Model (PAM) derived from COBIT 5. In addition to gathering preliminary data through interviews and surveys conducted in Bandung District, this initial investigation also involved a comparative analysis of various methods employed in prior research about the study's subject matter. The findings from this study reveal that the data processing procedures for MSMEs in the Bandung Regency involve the use of computer/laptop devices. However, certain MSMEs face challenges in adequately managing the acquired data, emphasizing the necessity for more effective data management to ensure the produced data attains the quality required for constructing a model for advanced MSMEs. On the contrary, some other MSMEs in the Bandung Regency exhibit proficient data management practices, conducting regular evaluations of data and information, and basing their decisions on the analyzed data. These two scenarios serve as benchmarks for understanding the decision-making processes of both emerging and advanced MSMEs about data. The aspiration is that the outcomes of this study can serve as a benchmark, offering best practices for MSMEs to enhance the quality of their Decision-Making and achieve excellence in their business operations.

Designing A Website-Based School Health Business Information System Using The Wix Platform

This study aims to design a website-based School Health Enterprises (UKS) information system and determine the feasibility level of the website. The final result of this research is a website-based School Health Enterprises (UKS) information system using the Wix Platform at SMPN 1 Belo which has been tested for feasibility. This research is Research and Development. The stages in this study include five stages, namely (1) the requirements stage (needs analysis), (2) design, (3) implementation (website creation), (4) verification (product testing), and (5) maintenance ( product maintenance). Validation is carried out to determine the feasibility of the designed application. The tryout was carried out on 7 subjects consisting of school operators, teachers and several school officials (principal, UKS supervisory team, and teachers) at Belo 1 Middle School. The results of this study are (1) a website-based School Health Enterprises (UKS) information system using the Wix Platform at SMPN 1 Belo; (2) the quality of the designed website-based School Health Enterprises (UKS) information system is included in the very feasible category in terms of content and in terms of appearance, this is based on website feasibility assessments from material experts with a percentage of 83.52% and user ratings with a percentage of 98.44 %, the website-based School Health Enterprises (UKS) information system using the Wix Platform at Belo 1 Middle School was declared feasible for use.

Do Information Systems Today Play a Strategic Role in Business?

An information system is a combination of software, hardware, and telecommunication networks to collect useful data, especially in an organisation. Many businesses use information technology to complete and manage their operations, interact with their consumers, and stay ahead of their competition. The purpose of this study is to analyze and investigate the strategic role of information systems in modern enterprises. We analyzes the components of information systems and their overall functions, as well as the importance of keeping the information system and organizational strategy aligned. By analyzing the influence of digital connection on enterprises, this paper expounds the adoption of information system in enterprises. We analyze the reasons why information systems have a significant impact on organizational operations, and the goals of an enterprise's adoption of information systems. The relationship between proper information system and improving the efficiency of company operation is analyzed. In business operation, small and medium-sized enterprises regard information system as a priority, and the impact of strategic information system on enterprises. From the above, we conclude the value of information systems in contemporary enterprises, increasing productivity, reducing resource use, and making data collection more efficient.

Hybrid knowledge based system supporting Digital Twins in the Industry 5.0

Digital twins are employed to monitor, analyze, and predict the behavior of a manufacturing system. In literature, the concept of digital twin is mainly associated with simulation models, and only a few works addressed the integration between physics-based and data driven models. This work extends this definition and describes how different kinds of knowledge can be integrated in a hybrid knowledge based system supporting digital twin. Following the Industry 5.0 paradigm, the hybrid system can improve the human-centricity, sustainability, and resilience of a manufacturing system. The hybrid digital twin is structured as an enterprise information system, which can be connected to the other information systems of the company, such as ERP, MES, and PLM, as well as other platforms of total quality management and total productive maintenance. A discussion on the application of the proposed approach in fusion welding, as an example of a very complex process, is also presented.

Lessons Learned: Enterprise Information System Project on Education Institution

This paper addresses the challenges posed by Industry 4.0 and the COVID-19 pandemic, which necessitate digital transformation in educational institutions. It focuses on the specific issues of integrating enterprise information systems to facilitate this transformation. The solution proposed is the development of an integrated information system to manage operational processes within educational institutions. This system targets key domains including student admissions, academics, finance, and human resources, utilizing role-based access control (RBAC) and Single Sign-On (SSO) for efficiency and security. The methodology involves a collaborative effort under the Matching Fund program by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia. This collaboration includes the Universitas Islam Indonesia and the Salman Alfarisi Yogyakarta educational institution. The approach includes defining the project, collecting, and reviewing lessons, creating a repository of these lessons, and disseminating the findings. The project successfully developed and implemented an integrated information system, addressing the initial challenges and improving organizational efficiency in the participating educational institution. The system’s deployment covered multiple key operational domains, significantly digitizing the institution’s processes. This paper contributes valuable insights and best practices from the integration project, serving as a model for other universities and educational institutions. It showcases the potential of collaborative efforts in accelerating digital transformation in education, especially in the context of Indonesia’s vast network of universities and educational institutions.

ПРИНЦИПИ ФОРМУВАННЯ І РОЗВИТКУ ІНФОРМАЦІЙНИХ СИСТЕМ У ТОРГОВЕЛЬНОМУ ПІДПРИЄМНИЦТВІ

In the modern retail sector, there is a constant development of information systems aimed at meeting customer needs and increasing business efficiency. Recent trends include widespread use of mobile applications, which streamline the purchasing process by providing customers with convenient tools for browsing inventory, placing orders, and making payments directly through smartphones. This responds to the growing demand for mobile shopping among consumers. Overall, information systems in the retail sector continue to evolve, adapting to changes in technologies and consumer demand, allowing businesses to remain competitive and successful in the market. The article argues that the formation and development of information systems in retail entrepreneurship are driven by nine key principles. These principles include automation of business processes, integration and interaction, analytics and reporting, information security, mobility, continuous development, collaboration with suppliers and customers, trend monitoring, and user support. It is demonstrated that understanding the relationships between these principles plays a crucial role in successful planning, development, and implementation of information systems in retail enterprises. Possessing this information enables achieving an optimal level of coordination, efficiency, and security in managing information resources, enhancing competitiveness, and customer service quality. Such an approach is critically important in the modern business environment, where information technologies play a decisive role in the success of enterprises. Understanding the relationships between principles helps companies implement innovations aimed at improving information systems to effectively respond to changes in the business and market requirements. This deep insight promotes productivity growth, risk reduction, and competitiveness enhancement. Therefore, understanding and mastering information about the relationships between the principles of formation and development of information systems are crucial for achieving a successful information strategy in retail enterprises.

СТАН ТА РОЗВИТОК ІТ-АУДИТУ В УМОВАХ ЦИФРОВОЇ ЕКОНОМІКИ

The article examines issues of the state and directions of IT audit development. The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that the conditions of the digital economy are characterized by the rapid pace of changes in the field of information technologies, which requires IT audit to constantly develop and adapt to new challenges. The purpose of the article is to generalize views on the interpretation of the essence of IT audit, to characterize the tasks, types, standards in the field of IT audit, to justify the main stages of IT audit, to generalize the tools of IT audit, to determine the main directions of the development of IT audit in the conditions of the digital economy. Methodical approaches to the essence of IT audit by scientists and practitioners are analyzed in the article. Studies have shown that some specialists define IT audit as a type of audit, others propose to understand and apply it only as an intermediate stage of financial audit, and some - as a separate IT consulting service. The tasks of IT audit, its types and standards are described. The main types of audit evidence, methods and tools, as well as sources of information that can be used when conducting an IT audit are analyzed. The main stages of an IT audit are highlighted: preliminary research of the IT audit object and internal audit planning; IT audit and analysis; reporting on IT audit results; tracking the results of implementation of audit recommendations. The recommended process of organizing an internal IT audit at the enterprise. The IT audit toolkit is summarized, namely: IT audit goals; the necessity of its implementation; objects of IT audit; equipment and software used in IT audit, etc. Based on the conducted research, the advantages of conducting an IT audit are summarized. The following areas of IT audit development in the conditions of the digital economy have been determined: digital transformation; cyber security; data analytics; cloud technologies; automation; regulatory requirements. The development of IT audit is aimed at improving its methods and approaches, which would meet the modern requirements of business and technology, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of information systems of enterprises.
